Everyone loves music, and everyone likes a live performance, which means that live music is a huge part of the social calendar for many people, whilst being an enormous part of the cultural calendar for the country. Whether people are buying concert tickets for the summer festivals, or they are buying gig tickets to the latest touring acts people want to witness the biggest bands of the moments live on stage. In cities all over the country people line up to get to the front row of the best gigs around, where their music tickets have allowed them to get a close up view of the people who have provided them with so many great songs.
One such venue will be the HMV Picture House in Edinburgh this October as the classic British rock band The Cult land at the venue, ready to treat their fans to live renditions of their famous tracks. They have been around since the 1980s, back when their big hits were singles such as “She Sells Sanctuary”, “Rain” and “Love Removal Machine”. With various lineup changes over the years and a wave of different releases in the UK and the US, this is a band everyone will have to keep up with.
