With the amount of high-end equipment that is used in theatre productions security is an important subjuct. With millions of pounds at stake theatres are employing more security personel to guard the premises over night. This sort of step up in security is not just aimed at the large companies either.

Gone are the days of just packing equipment away for the evening and rollingf down the garage doors to the rear as all the actors leave. Criminals are always on the look out for east targets and the equipment that is contained in the buildings is expensive but very easy to sell on the black market.
